Blake Derer

Blake has been an admin of the Teen Support Network for a year now, after receiving the City of Marion's Young Citizen of the Year award for 2014. His school spirit, and commitment to his local community, such as his work around the Marion Football Club, Dover Square Tennis Club, and many others, saw him obtain this outstanding award.

Blake graduated from Seaview High School in 2013, and recieved numerous awards at his Year 12 Graduation including: The "Student Leadership Award", The "Long Tan Leadership & Team Work Award" from the Australian Defence Force, and the Caltex "Best All-Rounder Award".


He is a hard working individual and is heavily involved in his local community, which includes working for the Australian Red Cross as a Youth Ambassador, and is heavily involved as a Senior player at the Marion Football Club.


He also plays and coaches tennis at the Dover Square Tennis Club. Blake is strongly against the idea of bullying after suffering from it throughout various stages of Primary School, and is campaigning alongside Billy with the anti-bullying laws to be set forth in Australia, and globally. 


Blake one day aspires to work for the Australian Government in some way and is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice with a Bachelor of International Studies Double Degree at Flinders University in Adelaide, South Australia.
