Verbal Bullying

Verbal bullying occurs when someone uses language to gain power over his or her peers. The verbal bully makes use of relentless insults and teasing to bully others, for instance a bully may make fun of another peer because the lack of  their physical capabilities, they also may tease their peer for something they don't like about them. By calling them names.

Verbal bullying includes

  • Teasing
  • Name-calling
  • Inappropriate sexual comments
  • Taunting 
  • Threatening to case harm
